My Professional Career
Since graduating at the end of 2019, I’ve built up a resume of varied experience…
NewsChannel 9
From January 2020 to March 2021, I produced local news for NewsChannel 9 (WSYR-TV) in Syracuse, New York. I was responsible for writing and producing the Weekend Morning News and three nights of NewsChannel 9 at 5:30pm.
DeWitt Community Church
From April 2021 to December 2022, I worked as Multimedia & Communications Coordinator at DeWitt Community Church (also in Syracuse, NY). While I was originally brought in to edit a weekly Worship Service and Sunday School program for YouTube & Facebook (using Adobe Premiere) during the Covid-19 Pandemic, my role evolved overtime to include producing and directing weekly live-streams. I’ve also gained experience in writing press releases, copy editing, print media production and several additional Adobe programs (Audition, Photoshop, InDesign, & Lightroom). In addition, I gained some experience working with Wordpress on the backend of the DCC Website.
A YouTube Playlist of content produced for DCC is available below:

Syracuse Mets
In 2022, I was fortunate enough to step into the control room at NBT Bank Stadium in Syracuse, to work on Live Baseball Broadcast Production for the AAA Syracuse Mets. Over the course of the 2022 MiLB season, I gained experience in several aspects of a live baseball game, including camera work, audio board operator, graphics operator, replay operator and game broadcast direction. This experience allowed me to mix my love of baseball with my background in broadcasting, and was a ton of fun (certainly something I would love to continue doing wherever I end up in the future).
Games that I directed can be found at MiLB.TV… Please reach out for specific dates.
CBS News Pittsburgh
In January 2023, I relocated from Central New York to Southwest Pennsylvania, accepting a position as an Associate Digital Line Producer at CBS News Pittsburgh. In this role, I gained experience editing with the Grass Valley (Stratus & Edius) video production and content management system. I also produced long-form political programing covering the 2023 PA & Allegheny County Primary Elections.
